Tuesdays are always lonely for me - the children have all three enrichment classes! We did start our morning with our morning meeting. The class is getting really good at recognizing their names when we do attendance. Soon enough they will recognize their friends' names too. Later in the year, I will have attendance stars with their first and last names. We then had math workshop. I'm working on spatial relationships with the children. I'm using a lot of words like "in between", "under", "beside", "over", etc. We finished a little bit sooner than planned for, so we looked at books and put puzzles together before washing up for fruit break. Drama, Spanish, and Music quickly followed along with recess and lunch. Before we knew it, it was time for quiet rest and dismissal. We had a great day!
